Washington State will enable voter registration via Facebook
The State of Washington says that early next week it will become the first state in the nation to offer voter registration via Facebook.

I guess thats why they are testing it out win washington… This also means facebook is setting up some serios barriers to entry.

theres supposed to be one place where you set up your Real ID, like a dmv online without waiting lines. And then you link other accounts to that, like facebook or google. And then you can use any account to login to anywhere that accecpts real id.

I've never used that system before, but I feel like Facebook isn't the most secure means of communication, especially when we've already failed to secure other attempts at electronic voting. However, if it's just feeding in your basic information to a more secure system, then it might not be as bad as I originally thought.
